If you have large amounts of green waste to reduce then you will need a chipper shredder, with a separate chipping and shredding chute. The side chipping chute is used to feed branches into a chipping blade whilst the top shredding chute directs your green waste into 27 rotating knives that pulversise the green waste into smaller parts.
The two chutes of the C80 make it an extremely useful machine, particularly as we often find that most garden waste tends to be more green material rather than just branches which is more suited to the shredding side of chipper shredder. You can also throw rotting vegetables and other waste through the shredding knives and if the material is contaminated with small stones they will not damage the machine, unlike a chipping blade that will not appreciate having to chip stones or gravel.
